Prices are a starting point — they vary by stylist level, and colour varies by how much your hair actually takes. Nothing starts before we have told you the number.
Every cut begins with a proper consultation — your hair’s texture, how it grows, and honestly how much time you want to spend on it in the morning.

Colour is weighed to the gram and you are charged for what actually went on your hair. It is the fairest way we have found to price it, and it is why our colour prices carry pence.

Shatush is the Italian name for the freehand technique most people in Britain call balayage: colour swept through the mid-lengths and ends so it grows out softly, with no hard regrowth line.

Protection before colour, and length when you want it.
Sprayed on before colour. Tap water leaves metal deposits in hair; peroxide reacts with them and that is what damages the condition. This stops the reaction. Almost every colour client here has it.

Fifteen minutes to talk through what you want, look at your hair properly, and do the skin test — which has to happen at least 48 hours before any colour.

Before you book
UK law requires a skin test at least 48 hours before any colour service. The test itself takes a couple of minutes, it is free, and you can pop in for it. If you would also like to talk your colour through properly first, book a Consultation & Patch Test — fifteen minutes, £10, and it covers both.
A 50% deposit is taken on all colour appointments. It comes off your bill on the day.
Please give us at least 48 hours if you need to move or cancel an appointment. Less than 48 hours’ notice incurs a 50% fee.
Colour services are for clients aged 16 and over.
Colour is weighed and charged for what actually goes on your hair, so a supplement of £3–£10 may apply depending on how much your hair takes. We will always tell you before we start.
Every bill carries a £1 Green Fee. It pays for our Green Salon Collective collections — the hair, foils, colour tubes and cans that leave this salon to be recycled instead of binned.
